Hi Dale, as you already know, water is a huge concern here in Texas and T.Boone Pickens (very big in oil) is now buying up water rights in various parts of the state and elsewhere. Water is our most valuable resource and must be protected.!
I am in agreement with all of the above. Water is sacred and must be protected. We want it to be safe to drink. Everyone can certainly appreciate water since we have been on water restrictions for a good while with the Texas drought. Fortunately the rain came just in time to save us for awhile and maybe the drought is behind us.

Did y'all know that only three percent of the tap water the folks of the US use on a typical day is used for drinken. The rest goes for watering outdoors, bathroom uses, clothes wasgen, and the like.
Americans tap into about 341 billion gallons of tap water each and every day of their life. Total water use, for both indoor and outdoor, in a typical single family home is 101 gallons per capita per day.

Do y'all know, that the original reason community water systems, were built. It was not at all so communitys would have safe drinking water. But it was in order to fight fires.

One of these days I am going to take some classes on wells. Almost all inspections around here are public water, but a few wells pop up. I do very basic inspections of them, but always recommend a well professional.
